There are several ways to get to the island.
When you are here, taxi driveres will all understand the Grandfather
and grandmother rock (Hin ta hin Jai), a landmark close
to our place

By air:
There are also direct flights from Bangkok, Singapore, Phuket
and Pattaya to Samui by Bangkok
Airways.
From Bangkok app. 15 times daily , From Samui Airport you can
take the limousin service (minibus) to Lamai Beach wich cost 180
Baht (tell the driver to stop at Hin Ta Hin Yai, grandfathers
rock).
Thai
Airways flies two times daily from Bangkok to Suratthane
on the mainland. From there a connecting shuttlebus heads for
Nathon, Koh Samui (350 Baht including ferry). They fly also to
Samui now .
Thai
Air Asia operates daily flights to Suratthane. Butget
prices when booked in advance, there is a fee for luggage over
15 kg (+ 350 Bht/kg when you buy your ticket at the airport,be
warned!). There is also a connecting boat/bus to the island that
you can buy on the plane (350 Baht) .

By bus or train
From Bangkok you can take the bus or train (sleeper) wich both
leave in the early evening. You will arrive the next morning on
the island. There are combined tickets available at both travel
agencies and the State Railways of Thailand wich will take you
all the way to the island.
The (sleeper) train costs around 540 - 750 Baht and leaves 18.30
h and 19.30h. (Central Station). Busses should cost from 300 to
600 baht.
In both cases you will arrive by ferry and can take the pickup
taxi to Lamai Beach wich should costs 70 Baht per person, get
off at the famous landmark of Hin Ta Hin Yai.
